Ceramic abrasives are in the upper bracket in terms of price, but they offer an extraordinarily long service life. Ceramic beads have a much greater life cycle than Glass beads with the break down being approximately 1.2% for Ceramic as opposed to 10% with glass beads. The glass beads ha s a life cycle of approximately 9-12 cycles where as Ceramic media life cycle is 70-90 recoverable cycles. This is reflective in the price.
